Dear VSC users, for the installation of power supply for the new MUSICA system, we are scheduling a maintenance window in the period: Thursday 10. October - Friday 18. October There will be a complete shutdown (ie. no access to login nodes and any data) of VSC-4 and VSC-5 on Thursday 10. October starting at 08:00am Running jobs will be aborted. Login will not be possible via ssh, jupyterhub,or nomachine. We will then perform maintenance tasks on compute and login nodes and on the storage servers (mainly firmware updates). Subsequently further work on the infrastructure will be carried out, however as soon as VSC-4 and VSC-5 can be powered on, we will allow access for interested users for scaling tests which require access to a large number of nodes up to a complete cluster. Normal operation for all users will resume on Friday 18. October.
