Dear VSC users, This is a reminder of the downtimes next week: Wednesday 18.9.2024: shutdown of GPU nodes (A40 and A100) and cascadelake nodes only / all day Thursday 19.9.2024: shutdown of GPU nodes (A40 and A100) and cascadelake nodes only / all day Access to login nodes and your data will be possible. Please not that due to a change of construction plans **NO shutdown of VSC-4 and VSC-5 is needed on Monday 16.9.2024.** The current status is that the required work will be carried out in week 42 or 43. Dear VSC users, Because of work required to add power supply and water cooling to the new MUSICA system we will need several downtimes of VSC-4 and VSC-5 in week 38 (16.9-19.9.): Monday 16.9.2024: shutdown of all compute nodes (CPU+GPU) of VSC-4 and VSC-5 / from 09:00 to 13:00 Wednesday 18.9.2024: shutdown of GPU nodes (A40 and A100) and cascadelake nodes only / all day Thursday 19.9.2024: shutdown of GPU nodes (A40 and A100) and cascadelake nodes only / all day Please note that running jobs will be aborted. Access to login nodes and your data will be possible. The previously announced downtime where we will make the clusters available for strong scaling tests (email from 18.7.2024) will take place at a later time. Best regards, VSC team
